TAKE THE GOOD WITH THE BAD.

Greetings once again folks. Now that we all let out a sigh of relief with Irans release of the 15 brits, we can breathe easier knowing there wont be another war anytime soon. So welcome back to my view from the litter box and lets scope out other ongoings in the world today/night. This looks like a good one to start off with,,,,

Um, there really isint any words to describe what this man must have went thru . Talk about a botched operation? How can a doctor get it wrong and remove the wrong tissue? But then again, there was that story last yr of a man who had the wrong leg removed at a VA hospital too. I think this man is intitled to some major form of payment for his butchery. Is this the norm now for VA hospitals or just a one in a million miss up? Either way, the doctors should be repremanded for their actions. so much for any family planning!

Now iam not saying it was right what iran did from the get go. But at least iran didint take revenge and do a prisoner abuse thing that happend in Iraq. Iam sure they could have taken pics depicting the 15 in underwear on thier heads, hooded and naked, stacked on top on another but it didint happen that way folks. If anything, the lucky 15 say they were treated ok. Of course their confessions were forced, such is the game of politics etc. Now that iran has released them, lets give these folks some breathing room and let them get back to normal(if thats possible)and let them be. Also, its not a wave to forget about Iran either and its quest to obtain Nuclear weapons. I think the talks between iran and britian should remain open and lets see where this can take the current tensions that linger from the west towards iran and vice versa!

Olmie cant have it both ways! In a deal hammerd out by the states that made the US arab allies nations happy on both ends, Olmert is now saying no . Yet the weapons the US is wishing to sell the arab nations are the same type that Israel has and in a few cases, abit more new version. Thus this new objection has stalled the sales of arms to certian arab nations as washington goes over Olmerts list of complaints and determines the outcome, if any . Its a case of having your cake and eating it too? Some say yes, others say no. Its not going to make the situation in the mid east any more friendly if Olmert gets his way. On one hand , the deal was made to counter Irans desire to obtain nukes , on the other hand, it does lend more firepower to arabs, and that is what has Olmert in a huff. Well, if he can think of a better idea to safe guard his country, then by all means let the man come up with a plan to do so. As for the arabs,,??? I am sorry but how much more conceeding is worth another war?

More news of unaccounted for spending spree in Iraq . Heres how it works. You hire a firm to replace a old firm to collect data as to what happend to 7.3 billion dollars in iraqs reconstruction. 2 yrs in to their contract and nearing the end of their contract, the firm says it was not given specific instructions as to what to look for about the missing money. in the meantime, that firm was being paid by the US goverment. And in the end? Still no money and no one knows where it went. Thats like hiring the blind to lead the blind on a unknown foot path! actually its the best racket every dreamed up. One where the MOB would be going´´´damn SOB now that was pretty smart, why didint we think of that´´! So just where is the money? Maybe they can hire another firm to look into the already 2 firms to find out. It smells like what it sounds like. Bullshit!

CON ON THE RUN? so say some , with her repeated lack of getting back to emails that wish to inquire what she knew during the yellow cake memo . Seems there was one letter missing among the 40 something she sent out regarding the iraq/niger issue. The letter was indeed turned over, but it has since been declined released sighting,,´´congressional correspondence´´ Since then the letter was released and this is the outcome´

Its true, one of my owners went inside one. Wont tell you where or how they managed but its pretty unreal to be inside a bunker from ww2! echo chamber galore, great acustics and alot of dust . But being from the states, a german bunker for them is like seeing something one can only see on a war movie. The smell of rust was rampant and it was pretty pugent too, but they went inside, flashlight in tow and were impressed!

Its a amazing thing actually and now germany might captialize on this and open some up for tourist who wish to do so . And it appears, there are alot of them too!. If you do managed to sneak inside, watch out for things laying around , they tend to trip you and dont use any stairs. Its been awhile since then and now and if the water damage was that bad they saw, its probably bad in other bunkers as well. Keep your eye out for any glimmer of sunlight, chances are, thats where the guards were and look for rusted gun mounts too. Oh and tetanas shot is a good idea prior!! Just dont get caught ;)~

HUMP DAY!!!

Greetings again folks and welcome back to my view from the litter box. News out there today/night has some folks doing cartwheels and others crying foul. Theres no middle i guess. So while your here, go grab some fav beverages and snacks. Lets start the blog off with,,,,,this.

Some news outletts say it was prisoner exchange swap with the americans who were holding 5 iranaian diplomats it had detained since one month ago while operations in iraq took place. Others talk of money being offerd, although i find the later to be doubtfull. Either way, Iam sure the word to release the 15 came from Irans supream leader,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supreme_Leader_of_Iran that gave the final word. Perhaps they were rethinking the possiblities of detaining the 15 brits, as the military operations continued to build up and surround their country. Not to mention that even its friends, china and russia were backing away from Iran since the seizuer took place. Fearing the loss of these two powerfull friends, and facing even more isolation from the world, perhaps the grand leader said enough and handed the brits back.

Of course this might put a damper on presidents bush idea to invade Iran. Under what pretext now does he have? Theres far to many toy boats in a small body of water now with the build up in the gulf. All it takes is one misunderstanding and there goes the dynamite. Heres hoping such a case wont transpire and Bush learns from other nations that by talking and having a open channel , it can lead to better outcomes, then his previous actions of bomb em now and ask questions later. Heres to the 15 brits new found freedom and heres to talks and what it can solve in the world.!

Due to the massive drowning of baby seal pups that are to weak to swim during their first weeks after birth, the Canadian Goverment has called off its anual seal hunt. Some might call it a mixed blessing. This time around Man didint slaughter them , mother nature, edged on with global warming got to them before the hunt could begin. Now my owners know of NO ONE that wears seal fur. Not now and not 30 yrs ago.

Estimates of the death had put some in the range of thousands of drowings. While some can see the seal hunt as some humans way of making a living, there has been a wide discusion on how its done. The most humane effort is to shoot the pups. However , there are some that use the club on them, often times not killing the pups, rather paralizing them or they slowly bleed to death. Its not humane folks. If this hunt must go on, then for the love of nature, use something fast and quick. not a fucking club that at times just starves off death on the seal pups, but leads to a long drawn out death. The Humane society has sighted case of some pups still alive when being skinned for their fur.

Just where is the fur going to? do some digging and you might be surpised!

As i was saying from the above story, about having talks with nations that dont see eye to eye on america, Now bush is reading speaker of the house a riot act due to her travel to syria to meet with its leader. Bushs problem is that he just does not talk period. His bubble consist of ppl who fact gather info and intell for him and from there he makes his mind up as to what nations he will shun. However it was ok when a few republicans went to syria to speak with President Bashar Al-Assad .That was ok , but for a democrat to visit? its bad bad i say. Perhaps Bush is afraid that by other ppl doing what hes incapable of doing, might lead to change and progress. Progress that does not require war .

More and more leaders of other nations have paid visits to the mid east and the mid east leaders have welcomed this. Maybe since bush took office, ppl are just tired of his cowboy style way of dealing with ´´threats´´ and are looking forward to open minded ppl to talk to and in the end , find a solution that Bush wouldint or couldint think of. Rich and over inflated egos make for a deadly combination in the this world, as the iraq war rages on .And we all saw how well Bush claims and non talks worked out for iraq right?

While the experts got it wrong last yr as the yr of hurricanes to pound the world, it was not the case. This yr however, using more improved scientific data, experts are now saying that its going to be the yr of massive storms that will visit the alantic, part of mexico and the gulf waters. They agree that there a probability that two storms with the strenght of rita, will reach the states coastal areas. Now the big question remains,, are we perpared? Look at the bad planning and piss poor reaction time FEMA did in 2005 when Katrina slammed into the gulf states.

Heres hoping that , should the experts be correct, ppl are more prepared, and get out of the storms path. For those that cannot, the states goverment responds and has some form of transportation ready . And let ppl bring their pets . Some ppl stayed behind when katrina hit when they were told, they had to leave their pets behind. NY had better prepare itself. Water temps have risen in recent yrs making it a prime target for a hurricane to form and hit.

WHAT A VIEW FROM ABOVE!

Greetings again folks . Its tuesday , the weather here is blah. Grey overcast and nipply too. Theres some news out there making or breaking ppls careers . Other news is too with less effect. So Lets paw thru it and see what we can find. This looks like a good one to start with,,,

I had to wonder how President Bush felt when the courts handed down this decision? Of course CJ roberts and scallia voted against it. As bushie loyalist, they would never dream about whats good for the country, only whats good for themselfs and their politcal party stance. But since the vote stands as it is, which iam sure alot of ppl are happy about, its time for the automakers to get with the program. A majority of ppl cannot afford a gas sucking SUV or mini van. Compared to the cars over there and here, its a huge differance in emision standards and fuel efficent too. When ´´the spoiler´´went to the states back in 2001, they rented a car that was labled sub compact, as the car company they rented from said they didint have any compacts. Turns out the idea of subcompact was a chevy monte carlo.! The trunk alone was the size of a small sofa, and the back seat ? imagine a couch. Regardless, most are happy with the courts decision so lets see what else comes up for the courts to decide on that go against bush and his policys.

News outletts across the nation and globe were on this story like white on rice. Interview after interview of Iraqi merchants pretty much all said the same. When Sen. John Mccain visited outside the green zone, he was pretty much equiped with a whole military company! Eye witness´s report Mccain being surrounded by army personel, wearing a flak jacket and helmet, and with helicopters flying over head and US snipers on the roof tops to look for any trouble, it was not your ordinary walk thru baghdad! Some were even disgusted , claiming Mccain made a mockery of it all, uttering words in half assed arbic and smiling for photo ops too.

During a press meeting later, one iraqi reporter called Mccain on his allegations that it was perfectly safe to walk down baghdad.

Mccains responce was ´´sir what i said, what i said, was, that progress is being made,,,,,´´ No you didint johnny, you said it was perfectly safe to take a stroll in parts of baghdad. Iam sure it is johnny, if you have a entire military company following you around, streets blocked off and snipers on the roofs and air support looking for any trouble. But johnny, the average iraqi does not have this and are subjected to constant bombings on a daily basis. And more then just one car bomb a day too, as The first lady brilliantly said on the larry king show a few weeks back. Mccains a photo op man. and one hell of a bullshit artist too. Its enough to make some sick!

Seems even civilians can be detained if they strand into irans waters. Such is the case of this man , who while on vacation, found his rental boat had driffted into irans water and was seized and detained for almost 16 months. His skipper a frenchman , was later released. However the iranians gave Klien a 18 month long prison sentence.

News has come that klien is being let out of prison and is awaiting a exit visa from iran. At first, the Iranians were going to use Kleins case against the german goverment for their conviction of a man who shot dead 4 iran/kurds in a berlin eatery. The shooter was iranian, and the German goverment convicted him in 1997 saying the shootings were in retaliation for 4 dead opposed to Irans goverment. The german goverment also said that they believed the killings were ok-ed by the highest leaders in Tehran. So, as his family awaits for klein to receive his exit visa, all eyes remain on iran and if Kleins safe return happens as promised.

This is a must read!!! All it would have taken anyone involved with the fake letter regarding the yellow cake and saddam , was to search the internet and find out the leads , that lead to nowhere. In the above articule it goes on to describe in detail about a reporter who smelled something afoul after GW bush gave his SOTU address and used those infamous 16 words. Words that led the US to invade Iraq and its lies it used to defend Bush descision to do so. Folks the man lied, pure and simple. Theres no other way around it. Read the articule ,, and then do some digging. Why the hell members of congress didint do that is a good question, even the democrats didint bother to sniff out some missing clues as to who, what where when and why!

So they all sat on their lazy ass´´s , not bothering to double check the facts , and voted for war. Prior to that, when Bush didint get joe wilsons full ´´i believe you´´ investigated report he filed, why the whitehouse let the facts out about his wife valerie pflame , who was then a CIA undercover operative. She was working on Iran and its desire to obtain WMD . So not only did Bush lie he also took out a important CIA operative in the field who was doing some mighty intence intell work. Why Congress isint starting Impeachment proceedings is beyond anyones idea. Lying to congress, outing a CIA agent and invading a country based on lies. All clinton did, was nothing compared to what bush did and continues to do so to this day.

Recently during a convo , ´´wasderface´´ was having with ther dad via the phone, dad told them,, ´´given what the states are like today its always a good idea to have a passport on hand and some money stashed away in case you have to flee for your life´´! This coming from a man in his mid 60s too. Even his mother all of 90 plus yrs now has a passport . Long before the new rules went into effect regarding the canadian border checks etc. Iam sure the articule above isint really due to that canadian effect.

I think more and more ppl are obtaining passports, given the current state the US is in. The US passport program says it due to the new rules regarding travel laws. Um no. Its do to the fact that america is starting to teeter towards nationalist ideas and values. First it was the gays they bashed, then the mexicans, now its anyones guess who will make the list the US goverment will use to instill fear and hate in the minds of its ppl. Prior to that, you were labeld unpatriotic if you didint agree with the iraq war, a terrorist lover, etc. Who else is left for the right to bash on ? I mean, Rush limbaugh already took aim at Michael J fox and his parkinson disease. And believe it or not, some folks agreed with Rush.

Rabbits, laptops riots and speeding tickets oh my!

Greetings again folks and welcome back to my view from the litter box! Monday has come , snuck up behind us when we still were in saterday mode. Lot of news out there today/night. With no way for NATO forces to enter this area, due to Musharraf refusal to allow such, the taliban has their hideaway safey secured and theres not a damn thing any one can do about it, or would do about it due musharrafs recent falling out with some of his own ppl. Both if my owners remember when the US embasy was seized in 1979. Every tv news outlet the big 3 back then, coverd it non stop untill the irainians made their demands known. Back in NYC, iranians were marching in the streets protesting against the USA and my owners remember some man from the sidewalk, run up and punch the Iranian student in the face. He fell, cried, blood poured from his nose, but the cops or anyone else watching didint do anything. In yesterdays demostration in front of the British embassy it reminded my owners all over again of 1979. With chants like death to British and death to america, its not really winning the heart and minds of other nations who see this on tv. Its more like, turning the tide away from irans claims the brits invaded their water and more and more ppl are thinking iran seized the 15 brits illegaly. The same chants were used in 1979 back then too, it didint help iran then and it wont now.

my owners were floored after reading this. Seems that in New orleans, the public defenders office is paid with revenues made from parking /speeding tickets issued across the state. And now with little folks there and the police force slimed down and mostly on foot patrol, that dried up the public defenders office money. So currently there are still ppl sitting in jail there, who do not have proper represtaton for their court appearance/charges. Now a judge has had it and will make a decision to throw out cases due to such , unless he can find some other way for the folks to have representation . So while your in New Orleans, should you visit, SPEED and help a poor bastid still sitting in jail down there. Some of the charges are so minor its making the court system a joke.

Id say that if Iran was attempting to degrade and humilate the 15 brits and the british goverment by having the 15 brits doing a version of water way weather, it worked! ok so iran now has their confessions, which they wanted. They still want a offical apologie from Tony Blair, but thats not going to happen. So what to do now? probably use the admissions of guilt and build a case against the 15 brits for court. Tony might have to swallow a sour taste and offer a apology, otherwise, if it goes to courts, the charges for such are severe. Theres no other way around it. Aside from attempting a Jimmy carter type operation to rescue them( which failed for the US embassy folks) Tony has to admitt guilt to get his men back. Or launch military assults. So much for the security there, and the morons who work there who lost their laptops. This is the type of bungled shit that needs to be cleaned up. God forbid any of that information from the missing laptops turns up in the wrong hands. North Korean will not be getting anymore hassenpheffer from this man! He claims that he sent some german grays giant rabbits to North korea as part of a test to help raise the rabbits for food to feed north koreas ppl. Since the arrival of the rabbits, hes tried to make contact with N. korea to visit the country and help them set up pens and tips on breeding etc. But over and over again,N.korea has come up with one excuse after another ,putting off his request . NEWS FROM THE HOUSE OF MURPHY AND co. Well the humans went to go shave cain, but looks like the hair clippers they bought were not made for hair knots. They decide to not attempt using that on cain. God forbid it got snagged! the horror to think such. I admitt iam not keen on cain sometimes but i wouldint want that to happen to em. So the humans spent 50 mins using a cat comb and brush and worked thru the billy idol spikes he has on his back. They removed 3 of em and with 3 more to go. Cains patient . I had to indure something like, last yr and i bit and clawed when the humans pulled alittle to hard. All cain does is whip his head around and give em the ´´eye´´! which means ´´i know you mean well and yes its ok but pull that hard again and well i will claw the shit out of your hand haha ok´? Hes looking alot better . But ´´wasderface´´ paid for it all night and today with sneezing fits and massive blowing of the nose too. Alot of folks here , germans, say , that they dont know any jewish ppl. NONE! In the above articule it goes on to detail the slow and steady jewish ppl returning to germany . Berlin is the place for many. Dresden as well. Here , none. One of my owners is from the states and they knew alot of jews, went to school with em, friends with them etc. The other owner i have has never met one and isint familar with hanaka or anything jewish. As i was saying on the other articule, about ppl learning from the past and embracing the future and learning from past mistakes. This story here, isint going to be one of them.
