Things get easier with time. Not saying that they make sence, just that it gets easier. I still at times cant believe my father died and ill never hear his voice again on the phone. Speaking of phone, i wont remove the memory speed dial either were it said, dad VA or dads home. I think those numbers will stay on the phone here for some time .

The boys come home this saterday! Its offical. I must admitt iam missing murph and puck a great deal since we have came back from NYS. A home just isint a home when you see a unused cat box and a old kitty toy laying around, both of which are just begging to be used. So come this saterday the smear ear game is on on J&A house and we play the wait game untill the phenobarb, kicks in! :) then its a game of called catch the stoned cats and shove em inside thier pet carriers.

Other then above, things here are ok. Went back to the drs along with my better half for more antibiodics. Seems kicking a summer head cold /sinus infection for me, and for the other accute bronchitis , is alittle bit more challenging then we thought. I blame the AC in the states. But it did feel nice to shop , without breaking out into a sweat.

Some ppl have asked me how iam doing. I have to stop and think and then i tell them, ´´i feel robbed´´. Robbed of not having a father around anymore due to cancer and its murder it does to ppl. Robbed that i lost far to much time with my dad, if he hadint come down with cancer. I think i handled it better when my mother died. As i was not here in germany but back in NYS and had family all over to help out. Thats to not say here, i have no support. Its just odd knowing i flew 3000 miles one way to say hello to family members and then goodbye to dad.

One thing brings me some peace, i know now that mom and dad are togeather again. And hopefully this time, they get along and there is not more worrying about anything. One of the major worries in my household as a kid was money. My parents worked double shifts back in the 1980s to get ahead. Neither could have forseen that cancer would make all thier hard work end up in vain. My mother died at age 50 one month after her birthday in 1991. My dad passed away at age 65 ,5 months after he turned 65. All died in the summer. As my friend put it, smart choice lol, they didint want anyone to freeze thier asses off during the services. He has a point.

The´´ Dont Climb The Tree ´´Picture.

Funny when you go back home after many years being away, things changed. The tree in the pic above. I remember when we first moved into the house and all of us kids were told, dont climb the tree, its too small. Well that 32 years ago, and seeing the tree again since 10 yrs ago was a shock. No , i didint climb it either. Just took a pic next to the picnic bench where many wine cooler parties were thrown by either myself or another sibling.

Its also there where my father had a good many converstations with each of his kids. And if he had time , even hung out during the wine cooler parties. I called UPS about the cost of shipping that picnic bench back here to germany, They said it would be impossible to do so. So, i have my picture of the dont climb tree and the bench. Works for me.

The ´´Boys´´ aka murph and puck (cain) will be staying in köln untill this sunday. So thats making it 3 weeks since we drugged em and trapped em and let J&A become guinie pigs ! Seems all they know are all about dogs, not cats. I called tonight and asked J&A if they could keep em for one more week. Seems i forgot just how much AC is used in the states and Myself along with my better half have taken ill. Ones got bronchitis, the other a nasty head sinus infected/cold.
JA& didint mind at all. From what they told us, the boys are doing well. Murphy had one accident and peed in the living room the second night he was there. Since then, no more protest accidents.
Cains doing ok, but still isint too keen being close to the cat sitters. Hes lost weight (good) and plays but if you get to close he runs away from them. Oh and murphy has found a way to open doors too. I know , this had me wondering how as well.

Things here are still numb. When you lose a parent as a young adult it really hangs your world upside down. When you lost another parent as a late 30s adult, it leaves you wondering why , and to be honest, afraid too. All those memories combined dad and mom both had are gone. Its almost as if the last 31 yrs of my life are wiped away. I have a 2 siblings left and grandmom. After that, there isint anyone . So if your reading this and had a argument with a family member and are not on speaking terms, id recomemend that one of you pick up the phone and do so now. I lost two yrs of dad, due to a arguement we had. It wasint untill i found out he was sick did i call him again. imagine that, thats 2 christmas, 2 easters, 2 fathers day, 2 thanksgivings, 2 new years, 2 birthdays his and mine, lost due to a stupid argument.

Cancer , when its formed right in the body, can and will leave behind a mess from start to finish. And believe me, there are alot of should have, done this said that , going on right now. same. things in ny are looking bad. My owners are going slightly batty and seems moving pictures is the game to play on a 92 year old. I know your probably wondering what that means. Just bear with me folks. This blog is what keeps me sane at night here in germany. I mean i could hit the cat nip and say piss off world. But then the problem is still there you know? The window dude came out this past saterday and installed the outside blinds here. Freaked me out when my owners went to use the switch to lower em. I was sleeping in front of the picture window/door here and suddenly it went dark.

I have to say though that it does keep the heat from beating in this place all day. It lowerd the temps inside and thats ok. Besides us cats can see in the dark yanno? Just hope the house plants dont die from lack of sunlight. I guess the humans only lower the blinds when the sun comes around and its super hot out.
