THE WEEKEND EDITION!!! Part One.

Hiya Hiya Folks how are you doing? Good Iam glad to hear this. Slow news day out there. Not alot of stuff to cover, and maybe iam just a tad bit too lazy to look. This somehow will backfire on the states.

This makes no sence at all. If anything in a case of a natural disaster that strikes more then once place in the states, its going to add to confussion. Lets face it, the states arent exacutly a axel sheet when it comes to dealing with disasters since Bush took office. Red tape here , emails left unanswerd, higher ups in command not following protocal, etc. And now this? Iam sure there will be many govenors across the nation not to pleased to know that they will not be commanding thier national guard troops. I am worried over this new tactic. Heres hoping Gates knows that the hell he is doing on this one.

Just a opinion of mine but it looks like since Nato handed the keys over to the states in regards to afghanastain, they have had more civilian fouls ups . Bad intell, US forces conducting night time operations and day light too and NOT informing other NATO countries as to what they are doing. Sure makes for a easy trap to fall into with this now sudden civilian deaths resulting in some very angry ppl . Now late thursday, the military has confirmed that there were indeed civilian deaths. However at the time it took place, they denied it . Why lie? Its not winning hearts and minds when shit like this takes place every month.

4 DAYS OF RAIN! and iam spent.

Greetings folks and welcome back to MVFTLB. As you may notice from the pic above, ive been working hard here ,getting you the news. Well not all of it but still.

Lot of news out there today too. A poodle steps down. The war still rages on in its insanity, and Iam gratefull mother nature has given my part of the globe 4 days of rain after going 5 weeks without any. So with that lets jump right in the mix and start it off with this,,,

Finaly some common sence in bill form may be passed.

It only took a few dozen drug related deaths but hey at least now the FDA is giving more pull to srcutinize drug makers and thier drugs even after they hit the market. We all remember the disaster of Vioxx that was used for treatment in arthritis. And then there was the heart attacks that normaly healthy ppl sufferd from after a well know cholesteral drug was oked and sat on the shelfs untill it was pulled. By this new bill if passed, it will allow the FDA to regulate and monitior drugs that have been approved and compare any repeated side effects . If found to be too common the drug will be pulled. Also it will speed up the approval process of other drugs that are used to fight certian types of cancer as well.

more tales of Docs getting big money to perscribe drugs via drug makers.

You have to admitt, the docs in this next articule were sly. Knowing there really wasint any study out or anyone policing adolesents who were given drugs by thier doctors to treat forms of mental illness of symptoms of mental illness, it opened the door for docs to right script after script and reap the profits it generated.

One psychiatrist treated a child of age 12 and was rewarded by the drug company with 7000 grand in exchange for promoting the drug. Other drugs out there that psychiatrist currently perscribe children are,Risperdal, Seroquel, Zyprexa, Abilify and Geodon. In the articule it states that over half a million children in the united states take such drugs that were not normaly designed for kids. Its seems the more drugs the shrinks perscribe the more kick backs they receive from the drug makers. Good real for any parent out there whos considering having thier kids put on meds for treatments of mental illness or other childhood developmental stages. Lets hope the US isint going to be the nation of kid zombies due to drugs not even approved for kids.

pretty easy to get a handgun, but will the new law passed stop such practise?

While its true that alot of folks from NYC were heading on down to the state of virginia to purchase handguns by the dozens and then resell em on the streets in NYC. Mayor Bloomberg of NYC took his fight to all states that have or had lax gunlaws and demanded they take action. Sadly it was only after the VT shooting spree that Virginia s Govenor passed a law making it harder to purchase a handgun. Now in a warning to NY state, the governor of Virginia is telling it, to stop sending down undercover p.i to score a gun deal while using a hidden camera and wire while posing as a so called ´´gun buyer´´. The State of Virginia Attorney General Robert F. McDonnell has sent a letter to Mayor Bloomberg and warned him that under the new law, which goes into effect next month, that if bloombergs men are caught , they will face federal charges. Lets keep our eye on this one folks and see it goes and what developments may arise.

box cutters on a plane? surely not you say,,

But yes, thats the case. It took place on A United Airlines flight from Denver to Dallas . A woman found the pack of box cutters inside a airbag sickness pocket where airline brochures are kept. The flight was delayed two hours as the pilot after learning of the find, decided no take off and brought the plane back to the loading area. From there it was boarded with law officals who rescreened the passengers and searched for possibly any more weapons. While the airline still has no explanation as to how a assortment of box cutters made its way on its airline, they maintaine that such things like this can happen from time to time. Sure makes me want to fly the friendly skys!!! Unacceptable and iam sure folks want answers and those found responsible for this too.

Looks like lastnight was the night of a thousand morons. Spontanious riots happend overnight in germany in cites such as berlin, hamburg and rostock. Police were called to stop the crowd who were seen throwing rocks, bottles and lighting off fireworks aimed at the police. This is in regards to next month G8 summit meeting thats to take place in germany. Dont those fools get it? running around in the middle of night causing riots is NOT the way to get thier point across. If anything, it will put a bunch of ppl under even more scrutiny for thier beliefs. Id like to ask those rioters, hey you like football? what if there werent any police at matches and suddenly because someone didint like the team you cheered for, you find your town or self coming under attack by riots, and being pelted with rocks, bottles and have fireworks go off in your face? Amazing how the morons only like the police when its thier ass that needs protection. Grow up and protest the right way. And dont forget all the worlds eyes will be on germany come next month, is this the example you wish to have the media portray your country and its ppl?

After the kansas ordeal and how it has not enough NG troops or equitment, Even Robert gates was forced to admitt that the nationa guard is facing its lowest troops and equitment numbers since 9/11. This not only involves kansas but pretty much the entire nation as a whole. Its soon to be hurrican season again, and now they spring the news that hey guess what,, we are short handed . Sounds to me like nothing more of a warning for ppl to make prepreations in the event of a natural disaster strikes. Because the goverment cannot gurantee it will be there to offer assistance after. And where is all that equitment and troops you might ask? IRAQ!

Face it VP sneer, the plan isint going the way you want. You wont get all that oil. Besides, isint halliburton stocks enough for you? Why theres enough money right there for your childrens children.

Try as i might i still cant understand how ppl will hide behind big drug companies even though they are to blame for deaths. Maybe its the money of which they shove down drs and Lobbyists throats, or the little perks that come along the way for pushing a drug thats known to kill even in small dosages. The above story details such this . The NYT were given documents that showed how this common practise works. For instance in one northeast cancer clinic, drs there received 2.7 million dollars for selling about 9, million dollars of drugs that the FDA now says can cause strokes. But what do we expect from drug makers such as,Amgen and Johnson & Johnson, whos last yrs sales werr ten billion dollars? Heres hoping medicare digs deeper and exposes this as nothing more then fraudulet practise and illegal too.

No matter how hard the whitehouse tries to spin away from its responsiblitly on making sure states have enough Nationl guard troops and equitment, the truth simply wont let them. In a new report issued, it found that last yr the Gov. of Kansas,Kathleen Sebelius warned that the national guard wa facing a loss over its equitment and troops needed if a natural distaster were to hit. It turns out now that the Kansas NG only has about 40% of its equitment , as the rest are in Iraq. And its not just kansas either. Other states have voiced thier worry over lack of national guard troops and equitment. Just like what happend in hurricane Katrina, the whitehouse seeks to blame the state officials after a natural distaster hits. There is no accountablitly or care in the whitehouse it seems. When shit hits the fans, blame the ppl standing in front of the fans.

Thats alot of states here in Germany that today saw mass raids on left wing radical groups that were hell bent on doing some major damage during the g-8 summit set to take place in Heiligendamm. Now news of another ´´immeidant attack have been issued by US officals based on ? and forwarned german officals that some form of terror attack(s) are in the final planning stages. Folks here fully expect one coming. With the USA now off limits , the nut cases are seeking to take their revenge elsewhere. All that will accomplish is fear and hate towards the many muslims here, and probably give the skin heads a cause to go out and do damage on immigrants here. Some ppl will never learn.

Its 7 miles long, and looks like it belongs to some large prison . But its the wall that was built to combat protestors and others from getting inside during the G8 summit meetings here in Germany. The local town folks arent happy of its looks nor looking forward to what many are worried will become a cause to trash shops and do damage to its community. But thats how it is today. Some folks think that by getting thier point across, means burning cars, throwing bricks and smashing store fronts. Heres hoping the riot police are ready for what many are saying is going to be a ugly scene from about 5000+ protestors.

Every monday hunderds of thousands did peace walks to bring down the communist control and thus the fall of the berlin wall. TWO DAYS OF RAIN!

after members of the WFB found paul wolfowitz guilty of misconduct, which paulie still denys, The E.U: Members have come with a idea . They will agree to let the USA, find a replacment for wolfowitz , but only if paulie is dismissed from his duties at the WFB. Otherwise no deal. Its a bold step in the right direction. Giving the current findings of the misconduct and wolfowizts assistant stepped down due to growing concerns over the bad image the WFB has due to paulies deeds. Paulie has to got to go period. There will be no staying on as acting member of some smaller part of the WFB. Remove him and any direct duties he might have or wish to retain. Hes a bad stain on the WFB program.

still battling races?

Once again the race card is rearing its ugly face and this time its in the same place where it took place some 50 yrs later. In a new argument that some are calling purely race motivated, a school superintendent roy brooks , who happens to be black is facing a call for his firing over what the black community has alleged brooks firing of some non office jobs and even closed some schools. The whites have said that under mr.brooks , the school have seen better inrollment , better grades higher turn outs of graduates and like his tough demenor. So now where it all began,, the segregation is right back where it is. Dividing a communtiy that rose above it 50 yrs ago. I think the school board should let the numbers speak for themselfs and if they can prove that mr.brooks in any way shape or form , did harm to the school and lowerd any standards, then he should be fired. Untill then, i say let the man keep doing his job. Eevn if he comes across as tough as nails, hes doing his job.

Now its september for the war.

Didint we have this converstation 2 yrs ago? A timeline , date etc of when the troops would return home? in 2004 , congress said, they could start the withdrawl in a yr. that yr came and went and no troops came home. Well unless you count the ones that died. 2005 came and congress said, looking good folks, the troops can start to come home by 2006. 2006 came and they added more troops! Now its 2007 and once again the yo yo effect is taking hold and now congress is saying to Bush, fix the current mess in iraq, straighten out your corrupt , find contractors that do the job right, ease up on the blackwater morons and stop dicking the american ppl around.

And this coming from the mouths of some promiment republicans too! I know,, it made me drop my jaw for a bit too.

So lets see if this is really the last straw that broke the humvees back. They say in septemeber, show us some serious signs of change and good outlooks in iraq, otherwise, we pull the plug on the funding and start proceedings to bring the troops home.

Maybe the republicans have stopped watching FOX news and read some other papers besides the pat robertson weekly. In what is a clear sign that all is not well with the war in iraq, soliders have now taken it upon themselfs to raise concrete walls around their sub bases to protect themselfs from hostile acts of rpgs, or sniper attacks. In a growing trend in iraq, more and more insurgents are targeting sub bases and at times with deadly accuracy too.

Just yesterday a colo. was shot by a sniper in bagadad by a sniper as he surveyed a wall construction.

And thru it all iam sure folks are remembering Sen. R. John MCcains words when he visited iraq and said it was perfectly safe to walk around bagadad!! I think the man is losing his marbles to even think that , let alone come out and say it. And hes hoping ppl will forget his comments. Sorry johnny, not when folks read stories like the one above.

did bush bother to read the iraq bill before he vetoed it? if so then he cares nothing about the troops.

In a report issued, it has detailed malfunctions of some humvee doors that trap troops inside when they must flee from it after a attack say from a IED. The extra armour that some have added on the humvees, have hinderd the doors opening mechinism thus trapping the troops inside. In the Iraq war bill that Bush decided to veto, there was money in it to fix this problem. So for now a quick fix the army is doing is weld D shaped hooks to the doors of the attacked humvee in effort for other army trucks to rip the doors off it in case of attack and the doors become stuck. The army was planing on spending some serious money for fix this problem but well,, Bush vetoed the bill and for now some troops are welding I bolts to the doors to make a quick exit possible. I guess bush dosint care about the troops, otherwise, why would he veto the bill? Or the moron didint even read it.

They arent sitting around waiting. Nor are they bitching either. Seems the folks in Kansas are taking matters into thier own hands and clearing and cleaning up the mess left behind after last weeks f-5 tornado tore thru greensburg. What took 15-20 mins to destroy the town, folks are picking up the pieces and going about it alone due to the equitment needed to help isint there due to the iraq war,or the citys dump trucks and other heavy equitment was destroyed. Other towns neighboring greensburg have offerd some of thier equitment to assist with the clean up.

Because lets face it folks,, if ppl wait on Bush to get his sorry ass down there for a photo op, with his shirt sleeves rolled up , looking sad, its going to take even longer. And these folks dont have the time for shit like that. Let bush stop on by wednesday, but if he was a smart man , he would stay out of the way and let folks go about taking care of their bizz. Iam sure they wont be impressed when Bushs motorcade comes in, blocking streets and folks from doing what needs to be done either. Stay home Bush! Your last speech at New Orleans was a joke, and folks arent in the ha ha mood.

RAIN!

Greetings folks and welcome back to MVFTLB. Its monday again. Somehow it crept up on us and now its 4 more days untill the weekend. Id like to know how he plans on doing all of this and maintaing a balance for the ppl in the process. Because someones going to get shit on during the next 5 yrs and it wont be any of Sarkozy cozy friends or supporters either.

Dragging thier feet once again, goverment agencys cant complete a report on the dangers of inhaling pop corn aromas for yrs as workers have done. Never mind the fact that most of the workers who performed this job, have all now come down with a rare form of bronchitis, thats not treatable . Well, if you count a lung transplant. But who as the average worker can afford that? And what insurance company in the states would foot the entire bill? What banks would understand the mortgage payments lagging behind due to one spouce not working and literaly suffercating to death? NONE! Its big bizz once again taking a dump on the little guy. Oh and just for the record, The food agency isint even sure what the dangers are in eating popcorn with aroma inhancers. That includes when you open the bag from the Microwave as well. Nice to know.

When my owners read this they were outraged! Work should not be a place where your bosses come into your cubicle and bang baseball bats on your desk and yell and scream at you because you didint want to do something illegal!! But as the case goes in the states, this company did just that. And got away with it for a good portion of time. Floating loans to bizz or folks that were red flagged by other loan companies, New century decided to look the other way and approved loans on houses that they knew were not going to be paid back. Some even tamperd with a computor system that is used to red flag potential risks.
But the more loans a employee sold, the more commison they recived and the more money New Century made. Up till now. Currently New Century is laying off 5,200 of its employees and only leaving about 750 on its payroll. New Century also filed for bankruptcy protection in april as well. Now under investigation by state and federal officals, of course New Century declined comment on the above story.The Mobb would be so damn proud of these guys!

Olmert has to either like Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni or secretly hate her. As the current tensions in Olmerts cabinet are on the rise, many are calling on Olmert to resign as leader of his party. There are even talks about Olmerts cabinet members quiting and forcing a new party and possibly new elections. Even when Olmert saw Livni back support for his resignation, he didint fire her, but kept her on as Foreign Minister. So wheres the other shoe drop? Why would Olmert keep her on, knowing good and well she would like to see him go´? Is Livni possibly attempting to form her own party and thus her reaction to the current scandal is nothing more of a way for her to drum up support for herself? Keep your eye on this one folks.
