THE WEEKEND EDITION!!!

Hiya folks and glad you came back for another installment of the weekend edition. its sunday, the last day before having to go back to work. Sucks i know. more tornados slam kansas
Where can over 1000 ppl go and find shelter? take their belongings, , the ones they found, pets, the ones that lived, Leave knowing a relative is dead, where can those ppl go? Seems in a big show of support, neighbor towns are offering some temp shelters for those effected by the tornados that slammed in to Kansas this weekend. Shame this didint happen when katrina hit. Hell, local law enforcement were shooting ppl on bridges during the aftermath of Katrina.

Now maybe some folks have woken up and thought´´ that could have been me´´! Oh and washington,, MOVE YOUR ASSES ! stop the dicking around with having to gather data etc. the pictures are enough to prove these folks need help and NOW!

I gotta admitt, this guy has some true grit and loyality to the US.NAVY for agreeing to go back for another service tour. He was honorably discharged after his COs found out he was gay. With a excellent service record too. Come to find out, later on, he recieves a letter telling him to report to duty? Huh? Wait a second,, he as tossed on his ass for being gay, back then, NOW since the war is going badly and hardly anyone is willing to join the service, the military is ´´overlooking´´ a homosexual ? You know what a problem is to me? Lying. Because no matter how small the lie, it snowballs into something bigger. Lying only gets those doing the deed into more shit. Congress has promised that this will be not another katrina and help and supplies will get there as soon as possible. Now the aftermath begins of finding survivors that may still be trapped under houses or still inside cellars that are blocked from exit due to parts of houses laying on top . My heart and prayers go out to these folks and DEMAND that washington act swiftly and set these folks up in some shelter. If Fema messes this up, there is no brownie to blame. For the love of whatever god congress and the whitehouse love, act now and send help NOW. and not red tapping the shit out this distaster. Nice thing to happen while serving your country.
Or it could be the luck of the drawer upon the person whom you married. Turns out more and more courts are giving custody of children over to ex spouces who use the Iraq war as a excuse to gain full custody. Seems either the mom or dad is serving their country and upon coming back for a visit or discharged, they are faced with a new war. The war to get their kids back. Most judges are ruling with the non military spouce and revoking custody that was previous argreed upon or court orderd befour mom or dad was deployed to Iraq or elsewhere. Not only is this not fair, its also sending a wrong message to the child. Mom or dad is wrong , because they are fighting in iraq, so therefore, the other parent knows whats best.

Sure hope a good lawyer reading this will take up some cases pro bono for some of the military folks coming back home and not having their kids anymore.

Be patient and remember the cams update every 10 seconds, so if you get a cool shot, be fast to click and save it. The eaglets were born in this order, first egg hatched 4/30 2007, second egg hatched 5/1/2007. So far the sex of the ´twins´´ cannot be determined.

Mind you , this is nature and if all goes well , the eaglets should be ok. However as in nature, things can happen and the folks whos land the nest sits on wont butt in . Only if its a case where the Kent wildlife officals think its nessesary. Check it out, bet you will get hooked! Star and Spirit are the full grown parents. Last yr star laid two eggs but only one survived to be hatched. In the pics above the one eagle feeding the eaglets is star(mom) and then in the other pic comes Spirit (Dad) to let mom take a break and go for a fly around .

PONDERING THE MEANING OF IT ALL.

There are some who are thinking just this! In what appears to be a unfair balance in the current Iraqi parliment, washington has pushed ahead a draft that would divide the oil profits up equale. But in PM. Maliki cabinet, some are scoffing at the idea that such a fair divy would take place. The shia are growing concernd over what they claim would be a bounty divided up by sunni and kurdish leaders, thus leaving the shia with nothing . Keep your eye on this story as iam quite sure it wont go away anytime soon. Yet possibley lead to more strife within the iraqi goverment.

66 ppl working for a houston texas troubled youth center were arrested or fired for having prior arrests that went undiscoverd.
3 of the former workers at the youth detention center had convictions ranging from murder to attempted to murder and assualt with a deadly weapon.
Officals are not saying weather or not the 66 former employees had contact with the children on a daily basis and if anything happend during the time of their emyployment. This raises a eyebrow for every youth detention center around the nation. Even airport baggage folks have a far better screening before they are employed . Pretty piss poor back ground checking . Heres hoping this isint just the tip of the iceberg.

The con is in syria today to have talks with syrian leaders who will attend a summit on iraq thats held in egypt on friday. Rice stressed to PM maliki that he must do more to shore up support for Iraq from his border neighbors. (iam sure she said more but that cant be printed) Meanwhile some are balking in this summit to forgive Iraqs debts and have them reduced to 80% of the original cost. Also interesting to note is that Iraq is trying to drum up support via money to help with the reconstruction of iraq. Wait a second, what happend to all that money that the US pumped into Iraq? you know , the money the US taxpayers were forced to pay from home and saw their health care benifits slashed and other goverment programs slashed due to the war cost? Now iraq is pleading for more money from its neighbors during this summit? something isint adding up here. One should note too, that last month when Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi went to syria for talks, she was put down by the whitehouse. But its ok for condie to fly over there ? why the sudden turn around,, politics plain and simple.

In what now only after it was caught on tape and complaints filed by media outlets , is the LAPD investigating what took place monday during the immigrant march in los angels. Some 200 something rubber bullets were fired into the mostly peacefull crowd. eyewitness reports say that police did see trouble makers, but instead of going after them, they marched those back into the crowd of marchers, in hopes of more trouble being started. Well it worked. Soon, police were seen charging the marchers and crowds . Local media reporters were also caught up in the charge, and were beaten with batons and pushed or shoved to the ground. Cameras caught police beating ppl who were simply walking away from the park where the crowd had ended up, or being shoved as they were walking away. One camera man was knocked to the ground and sufferd a broken wrist and hand, from the police. Nice job LAPD. if you were looking to mimic the nazi storm troopers, you did a fine job of it.

Vets coming back from Iraq still suffer lack of basic health care e.g walter reed. And for the average family in america, health care is a thing of the past. Veto Vito, as i shall now call Bush, was given a offer he didint need to refuse by the congress. In fact, they gave Vito more money then he requested for the war in iraq. But vito didint like the langauge in the bill and vetoed it. So now lets see what the dems can do to offer up a new bill , but one that still maintains its original underlying focus,, bringing the troops little by little.

first pigs now chickens?
2.5 million chickens slipped thru the food inspection services and made it ito the food chain. Seems impossible but its true. First it was hogs that were fed the contaminated pet food for feed, and some of those were slaughterd and made its way into the food chain. Now its chickens , fed the very same food that was recalled, that has graced some tables and was eaten by humans. Folks this type of gross lack of oversight has got to stop. Sooner or later, one time, a certian type of toxin will make its way into poultry or pork or beef and be consumed by humans. It makes one wonder what that could spell in form of a new illness. Do not any of the so called goverment safety agencys care? Now after this news, it seems thta BUSH wants a food czar to help police the FDA? isint that the person he appointed in the first place, job? to make sure things like the above dont take place? i call it more shrugging off any responsibility by Bush and his cabinet members or appointed asskissers.

Here we go again, The same game being played only this time its this clown above. The news accounts differ from what part of the world you are in but all agree on one thing, there is no proof that this man indeed was killed as some in Iraq have claimed so. Recall the days last yr when every 4 weeks or so, al-zarcardi was supposedly to be killed but wasint. Even at the start of the war, there was a huge daisy bunker buster bomb dropped on a apartment house, where a so called good intell claimed saddam was hiding out. Turns out he wasint in that building but the one next door and had left hours before. at first i felt bad for the army corp. Reading some news after katrina hit, it claimed that the army corp funding was cut by bush and hence why the lack of structure maintenance for the levees. Now comes news that the army corp brought pumps made by a contractor who won the bid, that failed to operate . The news dug deeper and discoverd that the pump company has strong republican ties and made nice donations to the republican party as well. But since when are any contractors as of late who ´´won´´ bids, doing anything but puting out shoddy work and material ? one look at the House of oversight and appropreations, finds this type of deals to be the norm. Exspecial so in Iraq. But this is not iraq,its within the USA dammit! Its looking more and more like contractors are only out to make a fast buck and leave once paid. Once again screwing over the ppl in the process.
