Just what is working in iraq? and why are the contractors who do shoddy work not being punished?

seems nothing is working in Iraq. Unless you count the number of times the insurgents have been lucky and managed to blow up some ppl . The Iraqi parliment isint working in Iraq for two months. Maliki isint working in iraq since his ass was appointed. The soliders are working in iraq for low pay VS high risks. Now news come of this audit that finds only ONE of 8 reconstruction projects working. nice to know that all that money most was taxpayers money of money that was slashed from US goverment programs to assist the sick and impoverished.

anger at the family dinner table?

Looks like Bush thought he was in good witht the saudi royals. Turns out they arent too thrilled with his brilliant choice to tear apart their region of the world, and in the process, destablize their way of living. So in a sudden turn around, the bad mouthing starts. Wonder if Bush can get his daddy to make some phone calls and fix things like he always had to do in the past for jr. Face it Bush, even they are sick and tired of your games. More baker and bush s.r. visits to the saudis to smooth ruffled feathers?

they had the help but refused it. is the USA a great goverment or what?

all those nations that sent help via air cargo planes filled with meds and supplies. Foods and drink were sent, only to be declared by fema unfit to eat because it didint meet the US standard or they simply couldint read the ingredients. Wasted time on having to go thru red tape to make sure shipments of help were ok-ed by the higher ups in the goverment. All the while, ppl were dying in the superdome, or drowning in their homes. But still the US goverment declined the help of many nations after Katrina hit. What does that say to the american ppl? Their leaders are unacceptable at handling disasters and need to be removed from office. Or, they simply didint care and thought,, pfftt its only poor ppl let em wait it out.

Not that iam condoning it, but why is it when something like this rocks washington and some very important ppls names are thrown in the mix, lawyers spring up and file motions to block any info regarding their clients ties to the escort service? The average joe, gets popped for it and the next day his name appears in the police blotter for EVERYONE to read . Why is it always treated differantly when it involves others? MONEY! I hope the woman in question releases the names of those who sought her service. every last one of the men ,,,and the women involved.

rocket man?

I guess Tang can move over now as the breakfast juice. Seems that rocket fuel has been discoverd in water supplies and thus , in ppl as a result of? some how it got in there. While doctors arent sure what the potential damage might be for having traces of rocket fuel in ones blood, iam pretty sure its not something they would recommend for everyone either. Just think about it,, is your water safe to drink? id seriously thing about buying a water kit or calling your culligan man for a sample test. Utterly unreal.!!!

nobody wants them back.

you wanna go where every body knows your name! but it seems that the detained and now cleared inmates at camp X have no where to go to. Even their own home countries dont want them back. So what to do with 80 something soon to be released camp x inmates? In the good ole days, they gave choices,, canada or mexico. Today thats out. So , if you have any solutions, please drop the whitehouse a letter in form of email. Iam sure they would welcome any ideas as to what to do with their FUCK UP, and heck, you might even get a job working there too!

vietnam was cakewalk .

Iam sure the homless vet whos approching his late 50s and sleeping on the streets would welcome the news of hearing his tour of duty was cakewalk. Or the man who lost both legs from stepping on a land mine. Or the familes of the M.I.A. s ,still missing and have yet to be returned home to their loved ones. True the Iraq war is going pretty much the vietnam war did,, bad! But to say nam was cakewalk is not a fair judgment to pass. Let us not forget that the draft was inacted during the vietnam war and lotto time was a great time of worry for familes when the lotto was drawn. If your draft card number was in the pick,you were off to fight in vietnam. Of course, if your family was wealthy and rubbed elbows with some politicians,, there were ways to get deferments. But for the most , there was two options. Go and fight, or head to canada. Or like rush limbaugh did, say you have a cyst on your ass and cant go! worked for him!!!!!
