Hiya folks and welcome. Befour I, cain tell you all about my owners newyears eve, id like to start the blog with this little tidbit of news my owners found and are kinda scratching their heads !

Folks, one cannot make this crazy stuff up! Read that and just think,, deeply, over what this might mean to other forms of life that some find less then desirable!
Whats next? eradicate every life form that a small minority deemed it their godly right to do so? What if someday down the road, some folks dont like or want black cats? will they play Frankenstein and remove the gene that makes some cats black? or white, or striped or long haired? Telling you folks, things going on over in the states are really getting batty! My owners really dont care, when they go to a fine establishment for dinning out, if thier rack of lamb or mutton was dry humping the same sex of thier breed! I mean, who would really care? Shit if they are willing to spend money on fixing genes, then maybe they can work on the one that makes politicians corrupt too. But that will never happen because that group of ppl are the majority!





On to domestic news here. I. cain am sub blogging for murphy this monday afternoon as he didint fair well lastnight from the firework show. I think hes suffering from post tramatic stress or something. First came the panic attacks then the panic poops for murphy as the incoming bottle rockets whizzed past the balcony. Those being fired off by my owners drunken neighbors, who at the stroke of 12 midnight , lit up the sky outside. Even though the humans closed all the windows, left the lights on and the tv on ,LOUD.
When the humans came home and fed us our newyears dinner, sheba deluxe cat food, murphs nervous stomach didint fair agree with that rich stuff.
I myself am known for a good harful from time to time, but lastnight i didint even though i should have, as every known man made firework zipped past, on and over my house.


remember how i told ya folks about them papers murphy had drawn up making me co blogger ? well the way i figure it,, is that its no longer the house of murphy only,,, from today jan first 2007 on,, i decided its the house of murphy AND cain.
the humans , of course still rent the place as us cats own it!! and we own them too !
speaking of the humans,, tomorow is the day that ´´the spoiler´´ has to go back to work after having 2 weeks off. its also the day that all the xmas decorations get taken down, and put away for next yr. kinda sucks, on both parts,, iam gonna miss ´´the spoiler´´ and of course the pretty lights that graced this place and made us cats spazz out from chasing shadows on the walls,, floors, and underneath furniture too!! This means being left alone with ´´wasderface´´ for pretty much most of the afternoon. Imagine a funeral at a library if you will, yep, thats how thrilling its going to be. Iam wondering how long befour the cursing begins when they attempt to take down all those christmas lights? AND re-box em up without any tangles. I could help em out , yanno paw swipe some of the lights at they are being rolled back up :) !





Ok the humans new years eve! Well the casino set wasint much of a success as they hoped! It seems that some folks didint want to like have to remember all the rules for craps, or didint like it when the roulette wheel never landed on thier numbers so, after awhile, everyone agreed to just play poker! In the end ´´the spoiler´´ ended up winning and ´´wasderface´´ came in second. But for the most part the folks liked the poker match and thru sips of beer and wine and other fine spirits, they all waited untill the countdown began for Newyears!
After seeing it on the tube, they all grabbed thier coats and headed outside to light off thier fireworks! Now like i mentioned in my early posts, ´´wasderface´´ is from NYS and fireworks there, are illegal to have for the average person. So, it came as no suprise that they didint know jack shit, on how to light off those huge blocks of fireworks. Luckily for them a friendly fellow by the name of manfred, who knew all about em, helped my owners set em off.
It looked like a scene from basic training camp from the army. yanno when they train humans to like toss hand gernades? So, ´´wasderface´´ with shakey hands, lit the fuse, and ran like some sprinter looking for the gold medal.


From what i overheard, they didint have to run 100 feet away from the fireworks. as it was only sparkle stuff that shot up flares and made sparks. Manfred iam sure was impressed with this ´´OMG RUN´´, and laughed. After that my owners asked em to light off the rest of bad boys and it was a nice self display of a firework show from the conversations of today. Nope, no one lost a eye or a hand. The folks were nice and even shared a drink with em. Red bull mixed with jaegermeister!
I think the humans might want that recipe for next years new years eve!!

Today of course my owners got up late but felt fine. No hangovers ! good cause hungover humans suck! And soon here its the dinner hour and that means us cats get another fine sheba deluxe dinner tin! Iam reallllllllllly hoping that murphys stomach is still nervous, more food for me ! Cause thats the last we will be seeing any sheba deluxe dinners untill Easter!
So, with that, i will come to a close on this blog and get myself on over to the kitchen and wait for the prize din din! Happy new year humans . I hope everyone starts off thier new year without any hangovers, or discover two weeks from now that oops they are pregnant!

I got this from another group, please spread the word I just heard that the HB Humane Society is closing its doors on Jan 8th. All dogs there will be killed on Jan 8th.
